Login into your NEC telephone system via the web link provided by COMM SPEC.
(It may look like this: http://192.168.0.10)
At the HOME screen
Click on SYSTEM DATA
15-01 : Extension Basic Setup will show up on the main display.
On the right hand side, there is a drop down list.
Select specific extension
01 - Name: 12 Characters maximum
Click APPLY up on the top right of the screen.
Click HOME.
Click LOGOUT
From the Administrator phone, normally the reception handset.

Dial 700 |
|
Dial station number you are programming |
|
Enter in name (use character entry table on last page) |
|
Press HOLD key to save |
|
Press SPEAKER key to exit |
